Their scholarship fund enabled women to attend the Code Fellows first female-only Ruby on Rails bootcamp.Code Fellows is a Seattle based company that provides hands on training in iOS, Python, Rails, and Javascript. Their eight week bootcamp will provide a unique classroom setting where students will be able to immerse themselves in learning code.Thu will join an elite group of 15 women to learn Ruby on Rails, the platform that powers local companies like Moz and Simply Measured. The students will learn how to build apps and work in a team environment. The instructor led course will provide students with mentors and a network of like minded individuals.The bootcamp will be held from July 8th to August 23rd. It provides Seattle-area women access to the education, resources, connections and a jump start in a technology career. Women today represent 12 percent of computer science graduates.
